Personal Behavior Data Architecture: A 100-Year Perspective

1. Introduction

This document outlines the technical feasibility, schema design, and global scale of longitudinal personal behavior tracking. As wearable sensors and digital phenotyping become ubiquitous in 2026, the ability to store a “Life-Log”—a minute-by-minute digital twin of a human existence—has moved from science fiction to a manageable data engineering task. By standardizing a 100-year logging duration at high granularity, researchers can uncover patterns in chronobiology, mental health, and behavioral economics that were previously invisible.


2. Data Class & Granularity Specification

To capture the nuances of a human life, the data model must balance high-frequency physiological data with low-frequency environmental and qualitative context.
